Tuesday Morning Adult Bible Studies

Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance
A Great Adventure Bible Study led by Deacon Mike Bickerstaff (Begins January 31, 2017)
Tuesday Mornings from 10 to 12 Noon in McNamee Hall

By Jeff Cavins and Thomas Smith - Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reveals many remarkable gifts that we as Christians are given in the Church. This letter tells us about the nature of the Church – as a body, as a household, as a mystery, as a communion, as a bride, and as an army. It shows us the great inheritance that awaits us as sons and daughters, adopted fully into the family of God. It reveals how God’s great love for us can transform our daily lives if we allow it. Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance is an 8-part Bible study that will enrich your faith, and show you how to live it out.

Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study

Walking Toward Eternity

Walking Toward Eternity is an inspiring series, brought to you by Jeff Cavins and Ascension Press, designed to help participants live their faith more fully. Through daily prayerful meditation with Scripture (lectio divina), they will be drawn into an intimate and life-changing encounter with Christ.

Daring to Walk the Walk, the first series of Walking Toward Eternity, introduces seven key virtues and outlines practical steps for living them out in daily life.

Engaging the Struggles of Your Heart, the second series of Walking Toward Eternity, is a challenging study that can open our eyes to obstacles in our Christian walk such as greed, envy, fear and shame. Through prayer, reflection, guidance, and the aid of the Holy Spirit, we begin to engage these difficulties in a positive way as we continue toward our goal of union with Christ.

Hearts on Fire Women's Bible Study

Word + Women + Wine = Hearts on Fire Bible Study

Are you feeling tired, weary and burdened from your labors? Come, rest in God’s Word, enjoy some wine and the companionship of other women as we journey through the Bible. Together, we will share the Good News and study the lives of the Women Who Set the World on Fire.

The Life of Jesus through the Eyes of Mary

This is a 12-week Bible study and evangelization program where we will study the life of Jesus through the eyes of Mary, his Mother, as well as the other New Testament biblical women who set the world on fire.

We will then continue with a 4-week study program featuring 33 Days to Morning Glory, "A Do-It-Yourself Retreat In Preparation for Marian Consecration" by Michael Gaitley, MIC, where we will explore the spirituality of the great Marian saints (Sts. Louis de Montfort, Maximillian Kolbe, Teresa of Calcutta, and John Paul II) in preparation for our Marian Consecration Day on Saturday, March 25, 2017 on the Feast of the Annunciation.

Just say “yes” like Mary did and together let us reflect on and treasure within our hearts the life of Jesus. The Holy Spirit will surely set our hearts on fire and fill us with His joy! Come, join us, as we meet on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at SPC in Classroom 1, starting on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Each meeting is a stand-alone session. You are welcome to attend all or whenever it works into your schedule.

Program is moderated by Melissa Hernandez, OFS.
