Teen Service Opportunities

Service is an integral part of our Catholic faith. Several projects are offered throughout the year for all interested teens. Opportunities range from events that serve our own parish to the larger community. Scroll down below for descriptions and sign up links for current service opportunities, or let us know how you would like to serve at St. Peter Chanel by completing the High School Teen Volunteer Interest Form. Check back frequently for more dates!

We are happy to sign off on service hours! Bring your completed service hours form to the Religious Education office for the PSR Program Coordinator to review. (For parish ministry events, ask the supervising adult to sign off on your hours).

Service projects for Confirmation candidates can be found on the Confirmation Preparation page.

Ministry Heads, do you need help with an event? Click here for information on how to request teen volunteers.

St. Francis Table

Sunday, November 18th
The imagery of the end of the world is pretty frightening, both from Scripture and modern depictions—just think about the latest apocalypse movie you’ve seen. Why, then, does the Church pray for this moment with joyful anticipation?
At this week's Life Night, we'll see that when Jesus comes again, His justice will triumph over greed that keeps others poor, acts of lust that leave us broken and used, and moments of selfishness that cause someone else’s needs to be pushed to the side. To help bring that point home, we'll be making sack lunches for the St. Francis Table at this session. Come help out and join us for an awesome Life Night! RSVP online at: St. Francis Table

Christmas Caroling

Saturday, December 15th
Come take a break from finals and join us as we lead some Christmas songs for the residents at St. George Village. Please RSVP in advance if you would like to attend: Caroling at St. George

Ministry Request for Teen Volunteers

The St. Peter Chanel Office of Religious Education is happy to assist parish ministry coordinators who need Teen Volunteers to help at parish-related events.
