Addressing the Challenges of Grief Together
Are you struggling with the loss of a loved one? At St. Peter Chanel, we understand the pain that accompanies the loss of someone dear to you. Our Grief Support Ministry offers two comprehensive programs to help you navigate through these difficult times.
Part I: Initial Grief Support Program: OFFERED IN JANUARY, APRIL & SEPTEMBER.
Over the past 7 years, 140 people have participated in our 10-session weekly program. This comprehensive program consists of three elements:
A) Understanding Your Grief Book: A well-received guide that offers insights into the grieving process.
B) Writing Journal: A proactive tool to explore feelings of grief and facilitate the healing journey.
C) Meeting Discussion: A safe and confidential space to express thoughts and receive support from others who understand your pain.
These elements work together to provide a well-rounded approach to actively mourn your loss and move towards reconciliation.
Part II: Continuing Support with "Open Meeting"
We offer an ongoing "Open Meeting" program for those who have attended our 10-week program and desire continued grief support. This get-together fosters an open forum for attendees to discuss grief-related issues with others who have shared similar experiences.
You Don't Have to Go It Alone:
Grieving can feel isolating, but you don't have to face it alone. Our caring community is here to help you through this difficult time.
