Frequently Asked Questions on Safe Environment
The following individuals must be Safe Environment Compliant:
- All Employees of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, regardless of location or role
- Any volunteer who works with anyone under the age of 18, or vulnerable individuals. This includes but is not limited to: Catechists, Youth Ministers, Nursery workers, Children’s Choir, Knights of Columbus members (if youth are helping with serving at KofC sponsored functions), St Vincent de Paul members, Extraordinary Ministers to the homebound, Ushers, Sacristans, Coaches, Team/Club Moderators, Corporate Treasurers, any adult group that will have youth work with them on a project, ministry, etc.
- Anyone is invited to go through the process for their own personal growth and knowledge of how we promote safe and welcoming environments for all of God's people!

Log into www.virtus.org and complete the assigned module. Completed online, this should take about 45 minutes.
