Teen Missionaries

The Teen Missionaries goal is to help realize our parish vision as they reflect God’s love and mercy to their peers.

Some primary roles will include:

Sharing publicly about their relationship with God.

Leading small groups at Sunday Night Youth Group and on retreats.

Welcoming other teens into a relationship with Christ, and accompanying them on their journey.

Our Teen Missionaries commit to living by a shared “rule of life” we call the Teen Missionary Covenant. Please take this set of guidelines to prayer (we recommend to Adoration!) and assess what might be difficult for you to live fully.

Teen Missionary Covenant

We want you to have as many dates as possible before you even apply to serve to make it easy for you to prioritize this experience. If you are interested in applying, please review these dates to get a good idea of what it will look like to balance them into your schedule. If you know you’ll need to miss some summer formation that is not a dealbreaker- just let us know in your application which days you’ll have to miss.

Leadership

Carlee

Growing up in central Arkansas fostered a love of lake days and mountains. Moving to Georgia after college has allowed me to keep both close. Since joining the team at St. Peter Chanel in January 2021, I’ve grown in joy and creativity as we celebrate high energy events and moments of deep prayer. Away from parish ministry, I try to hug plenty of dogs and enjoy lots of guacamole.

Eric

Eric is probably the loudest person in the room. If you can’t hear him it is either because he's not talking or you are hard of hearing. He is passionate about God, his family, and Florida State football and in that order (although it can get our of whack at times during football season). Breakfast is his favorite food group, especially for dinner. He has a Ph.D in learning to build, fix or replace things from YouTube. He truly believes that God doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called.

Sara

Sara loves Jesus, family, and running. She even won a 5K for her age group this year. She is a pediatric anesthesia PA and says: "God gave me 2 boys to raise, and I love them dearly. I’m over the moon that He’s now trusting me with some precious teen girls hearts. ♥️
